Many of you will remember that a year ago there was a meeting of the rnembers of St. Chad's congregation so that we could air our views about matters affecting St. Chad's.
This year a similar meeting is being held at St. Chad's. It will take place on Sunday 27th May following Evensong. The meeting will be held in place of the sermon that night. This meeting is especially important, as the P.C.C is due to discuss the future of St. Chad's at its meeting in June. Please come to the meeting on May 27th and make your views known, so that I and the members of the Church Council who worship at St. Chad's will be well briefed.
We are still temporarily without an organist, and in the interim we are very grateful to Mr. H. Parker who has played for us on a number of occasions including Easter Day.
Two of the meetings in connection with the Deanery Education Week are being held at Saint Chad's. The first is the meeting for teachers and others who work in Sunday Schools etc with very young children. The second is on Thursday 10th May - a meeting of P.C.C. members from panshes in the northern part of the deanery.
DON'T FORGET SUNDAY 27th MAY AT 6.30 pm
