New Hall (to be built)

A week ago I [editor] went to nave a look at the Church Extension at Waltham Parish Church near Grimsby. In all intents and purposes it is a Church Hall but if it's in a churchyard it has to be called a Church extension for legal reasons. The opportunities and problems there are almost identical to those facing us here in Barton. The site is very small and with direct connection to the North side ot a mediaeval church. The way in which the problems have been dealt with are very interesting indeed, especially the way in which the Church and the extension have been linked and the way in which the modern design of the extension has been blended with that of the Church. If you are near Grimsby, it's well worthwhile going in the back way and having a look.
