As part of the St. Mary's Day Festival there will be an evening of Music and Readings for St. Mary's Day in Church on Saturday 19 September at 7.30 pm. This will be the result of much hard work by our Choir, Choirmaster and Organist. It will comprise solo and choir items and also appropriate readings of prose and poetry as well as the opportunity for the congregation/ audience (what do you call them?!) to participate. Afterwards there will be refreshments in the Hall. Do come along - admission is free. |
Later in the month, instead of Evensong at our Harvest Festival on 27 September, there will be a Service of Harvest Praise, which will give us an opportunity to thank God for his many gifts in hymn and song. So get those voices in good condition and come prepared to raise the roof! |
